SOFIA LAGOON
Our locals secret! Sofia is in the heart of every Natalino. This is an amazing Lagoon surrounded by mountains which is actually very close to Puerto Natales (30 min drive). Benitez Hill is the highest peak around which has many trails with amazing views. The walls are conglomerate rock which is a great challenge for local climbers. But, the most amazing part of Sofia is that it is the home of the mighty Andean Condor! Luckily the population of the Condors has recovered and now it is easy to spot many of them meters away!! They will glide around you at the summit of Benitez Hill. You can visit this unique place on our W Basecamp trips!
