PAINE GRANDE MOUNTAIN

Cerro Paine Grande is the tallest and bulkiest peak in the Torres del Paine Nartional Park. For a long time its elevation was claimed to be 3,050 or 3,251 m (10,007 or 10,666 ft), but in August 2011 it was ascended for the third time, measured using GPS and found to be 2,884 m (9,462 ft). When you hike in Torres del Paine, you will be able to admire different faces of this stunning mountain which also has a couple of hanging glaciers!
