FRENCH GLACIER

This Ventisquero (mountain glacier) Is not connected to a larger body of ice (like Grey Glacier is connected to the Southern Patagonian Ice Field.) The French, is located on the very top of Paine Grande mountain! Which makes it impressive! You can easily spot ice carvings and even some avalanches! It’s a Glacier that’s always moving and changing. It’s not strange to hear the cracking from Paine Grande or Frances camps! This glacier is at the entrance of the French Valley, so, the higher you climb, the better the views!
